What we offer

We use our specialist training to offer guidance and advice to help parents and practitioners explore and understand children and young people’s behaviour.

All ages bring their own challenges – from the baby who won’t sleep to the teenager struggling to deal with exam stress. We are all different so we provide specific strategies that adapt and work for each individual. We have experience in supporting many issues including:

  • Challenging behaviour
  • Overwhelming feelings and emotions
  • Sleeping concerns
  • Eating issues
  • Anger and aggression
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Additional needs
  • Friendships and family relationships
  • Life events such as bereavement and divorce
  • Rebellion and defiance

Upcoming Events

We are working individually with families through telephone, Zoom or Skype.

We are working within current government guidelines, however once restrictions are lifted, we will again be able to offer home visiting alongside the online and telephone support.

If you would like more information, we offer a free, no obligation call so we can discuss your concerns and whether we would be the right service for you.

Sleep Workshop

Saturday 27th February 10-11.30am

Bedtime battles, interrupted nights and not getting enough sleep is a nightmare. It is often really difficult to know where to start when you want to make changes. This workshop will help you identify and understand your child’s sleep triggers and patterns and give advice and support to enable you to make positive changes using gentle approaches, leading to better nights for all the family.

Other parenting groups and workshops

In 2021 we will be running a variety of other parenting groups and parent workshops online through Zoom. These will include:

  • 4 week parenting group looking at understanding your child’s behaviour, managing emotions and providing practical strategies for you to use at home.
  • Introduction to Autism Workshop
  • Introduction to Sensory Processing Workshop
  • Understanding the Teenage Brain Workshop
  • Understanding Teenage Anxiety Workshop

We do not have any other dates yet confirmed for our group work or workshops, however to find out more information or to go on our waiting list, please email us on info@purpleparenting.co.uk or use our contact form
