Testimonials

I wanted to write to you to express my gratitude and happiness with the services you have offered me in my times of need. Your advice has been very clear, easy to understand and implement and in all occasions has worked for us and made our challenges easy to manage and cure.

You’ve been impeccable at responding to me in my times of need and you know I’ve already recommended you but want to tell you that I speak of your talent and skill to people all the time and would not hesitate in getting someone to contact you.

Thank you for all you help over the years and I wish you every best wish.

It made me reflect on certain aspects of my parenting and how I handle situations. I have started to understand my child more and to put myself in her shoes. I feel more confident.

Sarah has provided me with excellent advice over the past year and a half.  My husband passed away when my son was just 3 years old and he became very angry and withdrawn.

Sarah was incredible at explaining things in a clear, considered, simple and kind way when I was unsure of what to do and I was clearly vulnerable as well. ‎ Every suggestion she made which I implemented worked and as well as providing this excellent advice she gave me an insight into how children see the world.

I would have no hesitation in recommending her.  My little boy is now nearly 5 and about to start school and whilst he has his moments is a loving and steady little boy.

Purple Parenting facilitate tailor made parenting programmes with a variety of small groups of Home Start families. These are parents who have requested support with their parenting and advice on behaviour support. The advice and guidance Sarah and Michelle offer is always current, relevant and delivered in a holistic way. Sarah and Michelle have the ability to really connect with our parents and are happy to re write parts of sessions as the group evolves to ensure the families attending get the maximum benefit and the evaluated outcomes reflect this.

We are particularly pleased with the retention levels of parents who attend these groups. At the final session we often get requests for more weeks to be made available and I feel this speaks volumes. In my opinion, Purple Parenting really is the way forward in parenting support.

Fantastic course content, fantastic facilitators. Acceptance, understanding, support from rest of group and facilitators. Tips and techniques I wouldn’t have thought of. BRILLIANT

I have known Sarah and Michelle for over 5 years in my capacity as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. Their combined experience, exceptional individual skills and good rapport with each other will offer the families they work with and those they train, a model that will promote understanding, behavioural change and ultimately improve relationships in families and between families and those offering help and support.

They understand the stresses parents experience in managing different types of challenging behaviour in their children as well as their own responses. They combine this knowledge with exceptional skills in listening to families and working with them to identify problems and find solutions that are negotiated, rather than felt to be externally imposed. Families are encouraged to use their own resources and reflective capabilities to shape their own solutions.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Sarah and Michelle to families experiencing difficulties and to organisations seeking training for parents and staff.

The most useful part of the training was] ..going back to the beginning, starting a fresh as a team, which will help the child, parent and staff…Trainers were very approachable and comforting as they had a true meaning of what we were discussing, not just out of a book.

Very informative, I learnt so much and was so amazed how much improvement it has made to my life.

I always recommend Purple Parenting courses, they are always fun and informative. Thank you for always being so good!
